TRANSS LP Hotel San Vicente (GROOVYRECORD GR001) LIMITED EDITION 180gr - remastered SEALED
"An Indonesian funk group, but one who've got a style that's like the best Cali groups of the late 70s – all the way through to the AOR-oriented aspirations in their sound! Lyrics aren't in English, but everything else here really fits a breezy west coast mode – from the great mix of keyboards and basslines in the instrumentation, to the catchy styling of the songs, to the warm production mode that somehow makes even the unfamiliar aspects of the record come across with a surprisingly universal appeal. The group look mighty sharp on the back cover – clearly living the life of their sound – and titles include "Jawab Nurani", "Transsession", "Jumpa Asmara", "Tirani", "Senja Dan Kahlua", and "San Vincente".
